TWO TRU QUARTER HORSES - FOUNDED BY MARY JANE BROWN
Pedigrees with a past. Foals with a future. |
When she began raising horses in the 80s, Mary Jane Brown wanted to find a combination of brains, speed and ability that would allow her horses to excel regardless of discipline. Raised on the Idaho Salmon River in the back country, she also valued having a hardy horse that could stand the test of endurance and fortitude. Over the years Two Tru Quarter Horses has stayed true to these ideas and principles when selecting stallions and mares and has produced many outstanding athletes and using horses. Now her herd consists of well bred broodmares with a mix of running and cutting/reining bloodlines. Our standing stallion, Two Tru Rare Wizard was born out of her breeding program and his foals show real promise to amplify the winning characteristics of his parents Tru Tru Deck (son of Tru Tru) and Miss Jet Smooth Lou (daughter of Rare Jet). Tru Tru Deck sired winners in the performance pen and was an exceptional athlete himself going to the National High School Finals multiple times as a head horse. Mis Jet Smooth Lou was an all-around champion mare and won money in the barrels, poles, team roping (both ends) and was even a goat horse. She has produced several winners as well including the up and coming star at Rainbow Bar Ranch, Paparazzi owned by Samantha Kerns. While the son of these two great horses (Two Tru Rare Wizard) has not been competed on himself due to an eye injury as a weanling, he has already shown a great disposition and has some outstanding 3 and 4 year olds showing real promise.
